When did you and your husband meet?
My husband and I met in 2012. We'd like to thank Instagram for the love connection. LOL
When and where did you get married?
We got Married March 6, 2015 in Orlando, Florida. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Heaven Event Center.
How was your big day?
The day was dreamy! I wish it did not fly by as fast as it did, but everything was perfect. My girls and I were so laid back that morning, it literally felt like we all got together to hang out, that's how easy the day went. When we finally made it to the venue, I had about five minutes of nervousness, but once I walked down the aisle and saw all my friends and family members all the nerves went away. We were surrounded by so much love that day it really was amazing. One of the coolest moments of the day was the grandfather/granddaugher dance I did with my grandpa. My grandpa Christian is 82 years old, but moves like he's 20 something. I literally had to whisper in his ear "slow down!" because he was moving so fast. My guests are still talking about him. All in all it was really great to see two different cultures (my husband is American and I am Haitian) come together and celebrate love. The best part for me was that God saw it fit for me to have met and married such a great caring and supportive man in this lifetime.
Any tips for natural brides preparing for their big day?
My advice would be make sure you have people around who are willing to help in whatever way they can. If you can't get them to help hire a wedding planner. My wedding planner took care of EVERY SINGLE detail. I also had friends and family members who offered to help; all of them combined made the process very easy for me. If you get stressed don't fret...everything will work itself out (the advice my husband gave to me during the process).
How did you wear your hair?
Using Haute kinks extensions from Haute Kinky Hair, I wore my hair in a natural half slick back half out style (I don't know the name LOL).
What was your process of deciding how to style your hair?
Way before I got married, I had a lot of my wedding details already figured out. I knew what style of dress I wanted, I knew the colors I wanted, I knew a lot of things. The one thing I did not know was how I would wear my hair. It took me forever to find a style and by accident, on the day of my wedding, I fell upon the style I wore and it was perfect.
Is there a blog/webpage where we can find you?
